Cristina Gheorghiță founded and has lead the law office affiliated to TPA Romania since January 2004. Cristina Gheorghiță graduated from the Bucharest University School of Law in 1994 and gained a master in International Commercial Law from the University of Houston Law Center (1997), which she attended as the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship.
Cristina Gheorghiță was involved in several cross-border transactions and provided assistance in large and complex foreign investments in Romania. She has significant experience in: cross-border M&A, general corporate, corporate restructuring, real estate transactions, energy projects, legal due diligence, public procurement and legal aspects of structural fund accession, privatisation and post-privatisation compliance, banking and insurance law. Together with a team of lawyers, Cristina Gheorghiță also represents the company’s clients in court and in arbitration cases for the recovery of amounts due, bankruptcy and liquidation litigation, shareholder disputes, administrative fiscal claims (fiscal contestations of minutes of control, fiscal measures), labour related litigations, and the protection of property and possession rights over immovable assets.
