Alina Angelescu joined the TPA Romania team in 2004. She holds a Masters degree in International Business and Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) in Bucharest. She is a Fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Alina is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, audit and advisory acquired while working for reputable multinational professional services and consultancy firms. Her first hands-on international experience came during a secondment as an auditor working in the Swiss business environment. Since then she has acquired significant knowledge and expertise from working with local and cross-border businesses and leading various teams of younger professionals, to whom she acted as mentor. In her role as Senior Manager in the Audit Practice of TPA Romania, she has led various audit engagements of financial statements prepared according to Romanian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as other audit-related assignments for a wide variety of clients working in trade and manufacturing, real estate, construction, freight forwarding and IT&C services. Alina has also supervised due diligence projects for investors in the fields of real estate, transport and integrated logistics, and renewable energy services.
Alina Angelescu became a Partner in the Accounting Practice of TPA Romania in 2014.
