of VAT\/indirect taxes (knowledge of other tax areas is not a requirement but can be a plus).<\/li><li>Advise clients across industries on VAT matters in a large number of projects such as M&amp;A, reviews and due diligence, contract analysis, tax audits, compliance etc.<\/li><li>Oversee and ensure the quality, consistency and technical accuracy of all client deliverables, in line with internal standards and professional best practices.<\/li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for clients and liaise with client representatives and the tax authorities.<\/li><li>Monitor VAT legislative developments and jurisprudence and assess their impact on clients, proactively communicating relevant changes and practical implications.<\/li><li>Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, participating in proposals and strengthening long-term client relationships.<\/li><li>Lead, coach and develop a team of junior and senior tax professionals, ensuring high standards of client service, knowledge sharing and technical excellence.<\/li><li>Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions.<\/li><li>Continuously develop technical and firm.<\/li><li>Strong knowledge of Romanian VAT legislation and procedures (knowledge in other tax areas is a welcome plus, but not a requirement).<\/li><li>Hands-on experience in VAT advisory, compliance and tax audits\/disputes.<\/li><li>Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deliver projects within deadlines and budgets.<\/li><li>Strong leadership, people management and mentoring skills.<\/li><li>Independent and business-oriented, with a pragmatic approach to solving complex issues.<\/li><li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or Economics; ACCA \/ CCF \/ ADIT
